How to Set Up a Donation Roulette for Your Stream
A viewer's donation becomes a lot, the wheel decides who wins - the whole path from zero to your first draw takes a couple of minutes.
Step 1. Open the panel
The panel (/panel) opens with no signup - you can test the roulette right away with random test donations and see how everything works before connecting real donations.
Step 2. Connect donations
The "Log in with DonationAlerts" button in the panel - one-click OAuth login, donations start flowing into the panel automatically. The roulette also works without logging in, just on test donations.
Step 3. Set up your lots and the wheel
A donation's text becomes the lot's name, and its amount becomes its weight on the wheel: the more a lot receives, the higher its chance. You can spin the wheel any time - a separate timer isn't required.
Step 4. Bring the roulette on stream

Frequently asked questions
How is a lot's winning chance calculated?
Chance is a lot's share of the total donation amount: a lot's weight equals the sum of donations on it, and its chance is that weight divided by the sum of all lots' weights.
How can I verify the draw is fair?
The winner is decided on the server, not in the browser - the panel and the OBS widget only display an animation of an already-decided result.
Do I need to sign up?
No - you can test it with random donations right in the panel. Logging in with DonationAlerts is only needed to accept real donations.
