Donation roulette, auction, and mini-games for streamers
A donation roulette for your stream: a viewer's donation becomes a lot, and the wheel decides who wins.
How the donation roulette works
A viewer donates
Any amount with a comment - via DonationAlerts or a test donation right in the panel.
The donation becomes a lot
The donation's text becomes the lot's name, its amount automatically adds to the lot's weight on the wheel.
Spin - and a fair winner
The server picks the winner in front of the chat - by wheel, elimination, or the Royal Tower.
What the donation roulette can do
Frequently asked questions
What is a donation roulette?
It's a wheel where the sectors are lots, and each sector's size depends on how much was donated to it: the more a lot receives, the higher its chance of winning. The streamer spins it right from the panel, and viewers see the outcome on stream in the OBS widget.
How is a lot's winning chance calculated?
Chance is a lot's share of the total donation amount: a lot's weight equals the sum of donations on it, and its chance is that weight divided by the sum of all lots' weights. No hidden coefficients by default; if they want, the streamer can turn on a smoothing coefficient to give lower-amount lots a slightly higher chance - this is visible and configured openly in the panel, never hidden.
How can I verify the draw is fair?
The winner is decided on the server, not in the browser - the streamer panel and OBS widget only display an animation of an already-decided result. There's no way to rig the outcome from the client.
Do I need to sign up to try it?
No - you can test it with random donations right in the panel. Logging in with DonationAlerts (OAuth) is only needed to accept real donations, and connects in one click from the panel.
What is the Royal Tower?
A mini-game in the Mini-games section: lots climb the tower's floors, and the more donations they get, the steadier the climb. There are three finale variants and a separate scene for the stream without the control panel in frame.
How do I add the roulette to OBS?
Add /widget as a Browser Source in OBS - it's a separate page with a transparent background, synced with the streamer panel in real time over WebSocket.
Can donations extend the timer?
Yes, optionally: turn on "donations add time" - each new donation will extend the countdown by a set number of seconds while donations are being accepted.
